We’re excited to announce a new member to our roster of ambassadors. Brazilian poker player Alexandre “Cavalito” Mantovani now wears the 888poker patch and will be representing the team both online and at live events.
Alexandre has $361,407 in live poker earnings and ranks 105th on the Brazilian All-Time Money List. His best finish happened in 2016 when he came in 6th place in the DeepStack Championship Series for $45,620.
His online poker career is significant, with several decent in-the-money finishes in many online tournament events.
With steady cashes since 2016, he has proven himself to be a strong, dedicated, and super-talented player!
And not only can he play poker at a high level, but Alexandre is also a well-respected poker coach.
Cavalito and 888poker Are the Perfect Match
As luck would have it, Alexandre was born in ’88. His favourite hand is 88, and the fascination with eights doesn’t end there. In a recent tourney, he ended Day 2 on 88 big blinds – undoubtedly a sign that he is meant to be an 888poker ambassador!
Regarding this accomplishment, Cavalito had this to say –
“I can’t speak for others, but ever since I’ve started my career as a poker player, I’ve always dreamed of being a professional representing a poker site. And I’m very happy to have reached another goal in my career!
