Explanation of Sandbagging
“Sandbagging” is a colloquial term used to describe the act of slowpaying in poker.
It describes taking passive actions (such as checking or calling) with a strong hand in the hopes of generating action. The term “trapping” is for the most part used interchangeably with “slowplaying” and “sandbagging”.
Example of Sandbagging used in a sentence -> We made a big bluff into what we though was weakness, but it turned out that villain was completely sandbagging us.
