Explanation of Case
Imagine the following situation in Hold’em.
Board: T♥8♠2♣4♣
Player 1: T♦T♠
Player 2: 8♦8♣
Player 2 is in a bad way here. He has a set, but player 1 has a higher set. The only way that player 2 can win is if he hits the case eight to make quads. (Seeing as three of the eights are already out there, there is only one eight left remaining in the deck).
Example of Case used in a sentence -> Our quads were virtually unbeatable but villain managed to catch the case Ace triggering the bad beat jackpot.
